Compare Two Texts for FREE

Our Text Diff Checker compares an original and a modified text and highlights exactly what changed, whether you paste the text directly or upload a text file.

How It Works

  1. Paste or upload the original text on the left, and the modified text on the right.
  2. Choose a comparison mode: line by line, word by word or character by character.
  3. Turn on Ignore case or Ignore whitespace if small formatting differences shouldn't count, then click Compare.

Added content is highlighted in green and removed content in red, so reviewing changes between two versions of a document, article or piece of code only takes a few seconds.
